Welcome to Oldfield Training. My name is Laurel McComas, and my husband Frank and I have been involved in the training, sporting and breeding of our dogs for over 35 years.

Our cosy 100 acre farm is located in the northern part of the Shenandoah Valley of Virgina in a small town called Stephens City. We are located between Winchester VA and Front Royal VA right off the I81 corridor which is about 15 minuted away.

Having been dog breeders for many years, we know the importance of getting your puppy off to the right start with some basic training. While some people are perfectly capable of training their puppy on their own, we know that many are not. As perfect as we believe our puppies are when we send them to their new homes, every puppy needs a positive environment in which they can learn in order to thrive and become the dog that their owners want and expect.

Every puppy is capable of learning - it just takes some time, experience, and a lot of patience! We have provided a training course for many years for our own puppies, and we decided to open that training up to other puppies.
